Time Out says

Battersea Dogs & Cats Home holds its annual Collars & Coats Gala Ball to raise money for the 153-year-old charity, which costs £18 million each year to run.

TV personalities Amanda Holden and Paul O’Grady will host an evening of champagne and gourmet food, which is opened by the ‘Guard of Honour’, a red carpet lined with blue-coated Battersea dogs. Then there’s the ‘dogwalk’, featuring pooches in couture pieces designed by top names (in previous years the designers have included Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney and Zandra Rhodes).

All the packages are for ten 10 people, but some individual tickets priced £350-£1,000 are also available.

Silver package ticket-holders gain entry and are treated to a champagne reception. The gold package entitles you to access to the VIP area, a well-positioned table, acknowledgement in the Roll of Honour and the opportunity to name a Battersea dog or cat. Platinum package holders get all the trimmings, with an additional four spaces for guests at your table, complimentary champagne and wine throughout the evening, a choice of table, a designated host at that table, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Home and a goody bag for each guest at the end of the evening.
