Terms and Conditions

HOW TO ENTER

This competition (the “Competition”) is organised by Time Out England Limited, company number 01782049 with registered offices at 77 Wicklow Street, London, WC1X 9JY (“Time Out”) in association with NLD Limited, company number 12393652 with registered offices at 4 Station Court, Cannock, England, WS11 0EJ  (“Prize Provider”) (together the “Promoters”). We want you to nominate a community champion to be in with the chance a winning a Lockdown Champion Package (the “Entry”). Submit your Entry by filling out the entry form found at here between Jun 23 2020 and Jul 5 2020 to be in for a chance to be one (1) of ten (10) winners to win a Lockdown Champion package;  includes a lockdown champion hamper for the nominated and a hamper for the nominator (the “Entry”).

HOW IT WORKS

Complete your Entry by submitting your nomination for a community champion. All complete and valid entries will be entered into a random ballot from which ten (10) winners will be selected at random. 

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Competition begins at 12:15am BST on Jun 23 2020 (the “Start Date”). Competition closes at 11:45pm on Jul 5 2020 BST (the “End Date”).
2. The competition is open to all UK residents over the age of 18, except employees of Time Out and the Prize Provider.
3. Multiple entries will not be accepted.
4. By uploading your Entry, you understand that you are entering the Competition and agree to these Competition rules (the “Rules”). Time Out reserves the right to exclude any Entry from the Competition at any time if they have a reason to believe that the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
5. Copyright in all Entries submitted for this Competition remains with the respective entrants. However, entrants agree that by submitting an Entry to the Competition, they grant Time Out a royalty free, perpetual irrevocable worldwide licence to use and republish their Entry. This includes sharing the Entry through social media and publication by Time Out worldwide in any of their publications, their websites and/or in any promotional material.
6. The winners will be notified by the Promoters by telephone or email on within 5 days from End Date. A Winner who is not contactable or who fails to return contact within 48 hours will be disqualified, they thereby forfeit their right to the prize, no compensation will be given and a reserve entrant will be selected as an alternative winner.
7. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries.
8. Each of the ten (10) prize winners receives one (1) prize package (the “Prize Package”) each. This includes:
9. a) One (1) Champions hamper for the nominee which includes:

• Wicker picnic hamper & picnic blanket
• Spanish tortilla
• Roasted garlic aioli
• Iberico selection: ham, chorizo, salchichon & manchego cheese with membrillo (quince paste)
• Pan con tomate (Sourdough bread with grated fresh tomato and extra virgin olive oil)
• Gildas (traditional Basque pintxo of olive, guindilla pepper and anchovy)
• Gazpacho bowl (cherry gazpacho or salmorejo or green gazpacho)
• Portuguese custard tarts or caramel cheesecake
• One (1) £150 PayPal digital gift cards from the following choices: Just Eat, Google Play, Netflix, Spotify, Now TV, Uber Eats, XBOX, Apple Store

1. b) One (1) Hamper for the nominator which includes;

• Spanish tortilla

There are ten (10) winners in total.

9. All entries must be submitted by the original writer of the Entry.
10. The winner may be required to participate in publicity relating to the promotion which may include having his/her photograph taken for promotional and press purposes, subject always to the winner’s prior written consent.
11. It is the responsibility of the entrant to obtain any publication rights and/or release rights before Entries are entered into the Competition. Time Out and the Prize Provider will not accept any responsibility for the publication of Entries which do not have publication rights and/or release rights cleared by the writer of the Entry. Publication rights and/or release rights may need to be cleared by the writer if they include the names, likenesses, photographs, videos or similar of any individual without their express permission.
12. All Entries considered inappropriate or offensive by Time Out will be disqualified.
13. The Competition Prize Package will be provided by NDL Limited and is subject to their terms and conditions available at THE END OF THESE T & Cs.
14. The Winner will be notified using the contact information they submitted when uploading their Entry. The Winner may be asked to provide identification.
15. The winner(s) details may be obtained by sending a written request with a stamped addressed envelope stating which competition you would like the winner’s details for, to Time Out England Limited, 77 Wicklow Street, London, WC1X 9JY or by email to competitions@timeout.com by Aug 5 2020. Any winners details shared will be limited to surname and country only, in accordance with ASA guidelines on EU General Data Protection Regulation.
16. Time Out’s selection of the winner is final and binding on the entrants. No correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable and there is no cash equivalent.
18. Time Out accepts no liability for any loss or damage howsoever caused, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage or personal injury (with the exception of death or personal injury caused by Time Out’s own negligence) suffered or sustained in connection with the Prize Package.
19. In the event of unforeseen circumstances Time Out and the Prize Provider reserve the right to substitute the Prize Package for an alternative of equal or greater value.
20. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of Time Out and the Prize Provider and which prevents Time Out and the Prize Provider from complying with these terms and conditions, neither Time Out nor the Prize Provider will be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing their obligations. Time Out reserves the right to modify, delay, postpone or cancel the Competition in the event of circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
21. This Competition and the Rules shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
22. By entering the Competition, all entrants consent to the processing of their personal data by Time Out for the purposes of administration of this Competition.
23. The Competition promoters are Time Out and the Prize Provider. Time Out shall have the right to license all and any rights granted to Time Out to its associated companies and licensees.

SPECIFIC PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS

• London Kitchen deliveries picnic hampers will be delivered to all London area addresses on date agreed with the winner in July 2020. (Fridays only). Exact contents may vary, vegetarian & vegan options available. Should the winner live outside London, delivery date may not be Friday and will be arranged with the winner prior to dispatch.
• PayPal digital gift cards of the winner’s choice will be awarded in the form of an e-gift card. E-gift card terms and conditions apply and may differ depending on the retailer.
• All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that NDL receives confirmation of the delivery address from the winner
