Whatever your feelings about this new era of technology, this three-day takeover will be an informative look at how digital innovation and AI are reshaping art and the world we live in. Creative Intelligence is London’s latest celebration of art, imagination and technology, and will have a programme packed with art, performance, music, free demos, debate, play and experimentation.
It takes inspiration from the Southbank’s Festival of Britain, which explored the latest in creativity, art, technology, science and design 75 years ago. This new takeover will look at what comes next....
Peckham Digital – an annual, community-led festival and creative technology organisation in south-east London – will be running across the entire weekend and take over the Queen Elizabeth Hall foyer to showcase London’s grassroots creative computing communities through workshops and interactive drop-in sessions. On the Friday, a Creative Summit designed for artists, writers, designers and engineers will ask big questions and explore pressing issues through talks, panel discussions and performances. The programme will also showcase the ideas and people at the forefront of this ever-evolving field, with
expertise covering everything from beauty and quantum computing to venture capital for art, film, and music.
After the discussions, there will be evening listening sessions with pioneering artist
Holly Herndon, a trailblazer at the frontier of music and AI. Other artists taking part include Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg, author Jeanette Winterson, performer Love Ssega, leading scholar of artificial intelligence Kate Crawford, and Creative Technologist Razik Darji.
