Creativity and Dyslexia

Even when it only shows in small ways, dyslexia has a huge effect on an estimated ten percent of the population, and more than a third of those people are considered severely dyslexic. Awareness of the condition remains patchy, but this event sees children's authors Tom McLaughlin and Sally Gardner explore its links with creativity and its impact on their work, which Dr Kate Sanders will discuss how to make the most of dyslexia's positive side. The event is part of Dyslexia Awareness Week.
