Actors from popular TV shows including 'Doctors', 'Emmerdale' and 'Coronation Street' preside over the annual Curtain Up Christmas market, with 40 stalls selling crafts, collectibles, jewellery, handbags, bunting, cakes and more. The grand opening is by Siân Phillips CBE, with the raffle drawn by Downton Abbey's, Jeremy Swift and refreshments provided by 'Masterchef' semi-finalist Julia Gray. All proceeds go to the medical charity, RAFT.
