Opened in late 2015, DIY Space for London is a crowdfunded, cooperatively run social centre off the Old Kent Road. The space hosts work and social space during the day and a full range of creative events, performances and talks at night. There’s also an in-house record shop, open Wednesday to Sunday, and a vegan café – Joey’s Kitchen – at the weekends. Attendance is members only, but membership costs just £2 a year and you can sign up online in minutes. Get involved!
