Dog Day

Calling all pooches and their parents. The annual dog day is upon us again, raising funds for Battersea Dogs Home and Canine Partners with two events that promise lots of fun for grown-ups, children and cute critters alike (unless you're the feline variety, in which case probably best steer clear). In the afternoon, a fete-style event aimed at families will include a range of dog competitions such as a Bit of Ruff and the Perkiest Pooch, as well as refreshments, dog games (provided by Battersea Dogs Home) and a ‘petographer’, while the evening ‘Dogtail’ cocktail party glams things up with a selection of dog classes plus canapés provided by Absolute Taste. And there’s the chance to bid for a range of one-off designer dog beds in the silent auction.
