I am incredibly grateful to Taz and Tom for hosting this life drawing session every week. I have been going there for almost four years, and the variety of different models Who had attended always keeps things interesting.

They make it a fantastic atmosphere for drawing very relaxed. It’s in the pub so you can enjoy your favourite beverage while you draw. They have an interval halfway through the session for you to collect your thoughts and get another drink if you see fit.

They supply plenty of equipment that you can borrow if you forget your own or if you want to try something new. They also sell a wide range of different mediums for you to work with. All at a fantastic price, you don’t even have to visit the art shop before attending.

The two-hour drawing session between 7 pm and 9 pm on Thursday night cost £5.

I love attending this class and watching my drawings improve week on week. Thursday night wouldn’t be the same without it and neither would I.

I love my weekly life drawing sessions. Its a wonderful way to improve your skills and to gain forms needed for other art work. Taz and Tom are great friendly hosts and very informative. Great models and a great matireals to buy or borrow. Big space and great pub too.

Its also given me a chance to meet wonderful like minded people who find creativity an integral part of life. My Thursdays would be so dry without this sessions. Thank you for the classes. :)

The life drawing sessions are excellent. No need to sign up and commit to a set number of classes. Just turn up, pay the fee and enjoy the session with excellent life models, good drawing company and no pretensions. It was just what I was looking for to get back into making art.

Sadly my local life drawing class stopped running and I needed to find an alternative.  Things happen for a reason and I'm really glad I discovered the life drawing class at the Beehive pub - it's really well run and a fun friendly class to attend. There's a fantastic atmosphere with it being set in a pub giving it a unique edgy vibe, with excellent models providing great poses to draw from. If you're looking to learn a new hobby from scratch or need to brush up existing skills, this class ticks all the boxes.  And it's a steal at £5 too!

I discovered this life drawing class last year and have been hooked ever since. It is a well organised class in a really friendly environment that welcomes all skill levels. The variety of models each week is excellent with the class being split into various quick to long pose sessions. It is all held at the excellent Beehive pub which offers a nice selection of craft beer should you wish to grab a pint during the break. At £5 the class is amazing value and I look forward to it every week.

If you want to get into life drawing in a relaxed and open atmosphere, this is the place to go. An excellent array of Models visit the class, setting adventurous poses, which challenge an Artist to engage with the class, all brilliantly run by the Hosts "Tottenham Art Classes", who provide Boards, sell materials and orchestrate the sessions with a light and energetic touch. All this for £5 per session. A worthwhile escape on a Thursday evening!

As someone who enjoyed drawing as a child, stopped as a teen and lost all confidence as an adult, I was nervous the first time I came along but that completely dissipated within moments of arriving. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, there are materials you can buy (at a steal) and the pub has a lovely selection of beer! It really is accessible both from an ability point of view (everyone is welcome) and from a price point of view (£5 is fantastic value for the evening) - I can't recommend it enough!

It's always a pleasure to attend the Tottenham life drawing drop-in art class held at the excellent Beehive pub in North London. All levels of ability are equally welcome and it's a very relaxed drawing environment, with light background music and a half time break for a swift drink from the pub. The evening starts with a few quick poses to free your drawing arm up and get your eye in and finish with a longer pose after the break. Classes are very well attended and are excellent value for money at only £5 per session. I highly recommend anyone who fancies having a go at life drawing to drop by - you don't even need to bring anything along - charcoal and paper are available!

Friendly, well-run sessions with a diverse roster of models. Beginners are welcome, materials can be bought on the night and guidance provided by a tutor if needed (indeed day-long courses are periodically offered for those with no experience of life drawing). Classes normally take place in the panelled public bar of the Beehive which serves a range of local ales and is in CAMRA’s National Inventory of Historic Interiors as “a fine example of an unspoilt “Brewer’s Tudor” pub”. A great combination for an enjoyable evening.

I've been going to the Tuesday and Thursday evening classes for nearly a year now and love it! There's a really relaxed atmosphere so you can just get on and draw as you want to. You can buy materials there and normally a tutor is on hand who can give you suggestions or ways to improve during the session, or you can just sit and enjoy the quiet. Each session is divided up into short and longer poses by the model, so there's variety as well as time to concentrate and have a good go. It's a great way to spend an evening and all for £5.

I have attended the art class since the first lesson and I thoroughly recommend it to drawers of all abilities. The class has a relaxed welcoming atmosphere, yet is professional and the students produce great work. If you want to lose yourself in art for a few hours this is the class for you.

Excellent class with  friendly relaxed environment, great value for money. It doesn't matter what level of experience you have,it is a supportive environment. It is great to have  an art class in Tottenham, my confidence has grown. I would recommend this class to everyone.

i have been with the class for more than a year, and  I am definitely planing to continue :). on Thursday evening my plan is: relax, experiment,be creative, shapes and no rules. i recommend to everybody; it doesn't matter what your ability is with the pencil, you will find your own way to get in touch with the paper.......... the scary white paper. just follow the flow and enjoy yourself..... come and say  Hello :)

I was looking for an art class (without much luck) for a while - then the Tottenham Life class started up and it's been a much needed addition to the area. A great class of mixed ability and some really good models. It's very sociable and an absolute bargain at £5 a session. Recommended for anyone who is thinking about starting a creative hobby or indeed anyone who is a bit rusty and wants to get back into drawing figures.

Really great relaxed class. It was my first time ever in a life drawing class and I didn’t feel intimated at all. I just had a good go and really enjoyed myself. It's amazing to have a local art class in Tottenham - ace.

A nice group with a relaxed feel. Good models so far and a interesting mix of poses. Mixed levels so everyone should feel welcome. Talking to others in the class it seems that lots of exciting things are having in Tottenham these days. Will definitely go back!

Tottenham has been waiting for a life drawing class for a few years now, with some running only for a short time. With most London classes costing three times to 10 times the price of this class, the tottenham drop in class is a great find for professional artists, hobbyists and people who are keen to meet new, friendly folk and discover a new discipline. Absolutely everyone can draw with a little commitment and guidance and I highly recommend people thinking about exploring drawing to attend this friendly class.

A really great, relaxed class - I hadn't done life drawing for years and this was a great way of getting back in to it - there were lots of really talented people there and then less experienced people like myself too so a nice mix. Everyone was friendly and the model was great. Highly recommend!
