Independent makers, bakers, brewers and shops fling wide their doors to visitors and free tours throng the streets for a number of festive events to celebrate independent business in the East End. Meet Alice in Wonderland characters on Columbia Road, drink mulled cider and hot chocolate and see Barn the Spoon carve, then wander up to Broadway Market for food tours and a history of F Cooke's jellied eels.
