Time Out says

Sylvia Pankhurst (daughter of Emmeline) founded the East London Federation of Suffragettes in Bow 100 years ago, and this ten-day festival of walks, talks, screenings, and gatherings has been organised to celebrate. The main event (Aug 9) is a day of free talks on history and women's activism, creative workshops, children's storytelling and stalls from local businesses and campaigns, with all money raised going to Newham Action Against Domestic Violence. For the full line up and more details visit the East London Suffragettes website.
