Following a successful run at Orleans House Stables Gallery, the Eel Pie Island Music Project is back. The exhibition charts the history of the island’s dancehall. It looks at the 50s Jazz era, the energy of the 60s, Arthur Chisnall’s music club for young people, the eventual loss of the hotel and its remaining legacy. Entry to Eelpiland is free but tickets are required to view museum’s collection. A guided tour and live musical demonstrations takes place each day at 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
