Time Out says

There was some consternation among the natives of Greenwich about the Olympics arriving on their doorstep – and particularly in their beloved park – next summer. In an apparent charm offensive for the benefit of perturbed south-east London residents, Locog is giving away over 3,500 tickets for the two events taking place in the borough – modern pentathlon and equestrian – to local schools and Greenwich University.

Greenwich Council has also received 1,000 equestrian and modern pentathlon tickets to be given away free to local residents through a ballot. The deadline for applications is 3 June, with a limit of two tickets per application. See more info on how to apply, see http://www.greenwich.gov.uk/Greenwich/2012Games/OlympicNews/Apply-for-Modern-Pentathlon-Equestrian-tickets.htm

World class dressage and show jumping will take place in the arena in the centre of the park, while spectators will be able to move around the park to watch the cross county event.
