Time Out says

It's 175 years since the world's first ever postage stamp, the Penny Black, was introduced. Since them stamps have literally got everywhere, and this exhibition will look at their own colourful history, and the way letters have been involved in major historical events such as the moon landing and Robert the Bruce's fight for Scottish independence. Around 300,000 stamps will be on display as well as historical artefacts relating to written communications of the past. Entry costs £10 on May 13 but is free thereafter.
