Evolving English: One Language, Many Voices

An exhibition exploring the national and international diversity of the English language. Objects including comics, advertisements, posters and newspapers, and recordings explore how English is spoken in the UK, from rural dialects to urban youth speak, and celebrate English as it is spoken by 1.8 billion people around the world.
