Banish any remnants of the chilly-day blues at this one-night-only exhibition of summer photography in a unique riverside venue. Sunshine vibes will be emanating from a polaroid photo booth, video art projections and fruity punch, and you can take some of it home by buying cheap as chips postcards and framed snaps.
The Fake Tan Salon is a series of exhibitions with the worthwhile aim of bringing our focus back to analogue photography, by putting out open invitations for people to submit physical copies of their snaps by post. The organiser wants to encourage us to use our local photography shops to rediscover how easy it is to get actual prints from our vast digital archives, and to prove how cheap it is you can snap up the exhibited prints for next to nothing. Sounds like the perfect way to usher in the warmer months.
