Falconry Display at Somerset House
Ed Marshall / Time Out
In conjunction with the exhibition Isabella Blow: Fashon Galore!, this falconry display – run by the Hawking Centre - celebrates the fashionista's love of the savage birds: she even arranged falconry lessons for Alexander McQueen at her country house. You'll get to see hawks, eagles and falcons swoop and stoop (the technical term for the killing dive) in the fountain court, as well as getting the chance to meet some of the birds and chat to falconers.

Absolutely wonderful display on a beautiful February afternoon - blue skies, superb setting, and appropriate to the venue and Isabella Blow exhibition. Interesting, educational and amusing actions and dialogue by a brlilliant young team of Falconers. And those FANTASTIC BIRDS... What a lovely treat on our grandson's 6th birthday! Thank you Somerset House - now I must return to the exhibition!
