First Weekends: Seven Seas

A chance to see Iraqi artist Rashad Salim's 'Buffalo Dragon' sculpture, which he will be creating from bicycle parts at The Boiler Room this weekend. There will also be pieces from Salim's 'Re-Piano' series and he will be working on his new 'Iraqi Coracle' project as well; a 'coracle' being a small, ancient-styled boat comprised of interwoven reeds and animal skins (or bitumen).
