Foster + Partners Studio is a 60-metre-long, double-height space in a purpose-built riverside building. The Foster-designed Albion complex is next door. The studio is exceptional in that there are no enclosed spaces. All staff work in the same room at specially-designed desks, each 11 metres long, at right angles to the glazed wall to allow everyone a view. As part of Open House London 2011, Foster + Partners Studio is open for tours on a first-come, first-served basis on September 17 10am-5pm, last entry 4.15pm.
