This year the Freeze festival moves to Clapham Common, which has morphed into a snowy mountain resort to host new ski and snowboard competition Hail the Rail.
For spectators on the ground, there will be alpine food stalls with belly-warming delights from fondue to mulled wine and a shopping village where you can browse skiwear and chalet holidays.
The festival also encompasses themed films, talks by cold-weather athletes and explorers, a funfair and après-ski style bars with DJs, plus music from live bands.
The line-up includes Madeon, DJ Fresh, AlunaGeorge, Idris Elba, Toddla T, Clean Bandit, MJ Cole, Maribou State, Eton Messy, Route 94, The Cuban Brothers and more.

Do not waste your money going to this event. We paid £56 per person for a VIP ticket for sat night. The snowboarding competition was pathetic with tiny rails. If you've previously seen photos of this event that show the competitors going off 32m jumps, that was at Battersea in previous years and looks great. I actually felt sad for the competitors. The ONLY thing this had was big DJ tent which was okay. It's essentially a food/drink/shopping event which you are being charged for. Go to winter wonderland instead. It's a better, free and you can take the £50 you paid to get in, to go to a proper club afterwards.
