Time Out says

A week of activities exploring different types of shelters, inspired by the museum's exhibition 'Homes of the Homeless: Seeking Shelter in Victorian London'. Sessions include making a family of peg puppet people and a home for them to live in (Tuesday May 26, 2-4pm; age 5-8), decorating a wooden birdhouse with garden-inspired designs (Wednesday May 27, 2-4pm, age 11+), creating woven structures to shelter garden mini beasts (Thursday May 28, 10.30am-12.30pm and 2pm-4pm; age 5+) and designing Victorian-style portraits to turn into fridge magnets (Friday May 29, 2pm-4pm; age 8+). Plus, each day from 2pm to 4.30pm the museum’s activity cart will make an appearance in the gardens. Turn up half an hour early for the session you want to take part in; each one is allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
