GPO Walking Tour: From Pillar to Post

Discover 350 years of London's postal history from the coffee houses of the 1600s to the electronic communication of today. This walk uncovers why pillar boxes are red, why the floors of all telephone boxes are not level and the location where crowds gathered each night to witness the spectacle of racing mail coaches leaving London.
