Has Capitalism Killed Fashion?

Bored of London Fashion Week managing to exist in its own rarefied, ultraluxe bubble? Brick Lane Debates and War on Want have joined forces to present an alternative: a day of workshops, debates, films and performances that will provide food for thought and grounds for activism. Designer Katharine Hamnett, the charity TRAID and upcyclers Fabrications will be among the guests, covering topics including self-hatred in fashion, cosmetic chemicals, rampant consumerism and the ethics of supply chains.
