Children can put their detective skills to the test inside Syon House, looking for hidden clues to win a prize, but expect some serious spookiness along the way. Syon House was built on the site of a medieval abbey, destroyed by Henry VIII during the Dissolution of the Monastries, and home to two doomed aristos: Henry's fifth wife Catherine Howard and Lady Jane Grey, the Nine Days Queen. You'll need to pay for admission to the house to take part, and last admission is at 4pm; ring for further information.
A ghost tour for grown-ups is also on offer.
