Artist William Heath Robinson's clever and funny illustrations made him one of the most popular artists of his era in the UK. In 2016 a new museum dedicated to his work is set to open in Pinner, where he lived. This exhibition, hosted at advertising agency McCann's London office, will give a preview of the calibre of work you can expect to see once it does. The focus here is on Heath Robinson's advertising work and his satirical take on modernist design, with a selection of vintage publications and prints on show. There’s also an opportunity to view the exhibition during Open House Weekend, when McCann's Grade 2 listed Art Deco headquarters in Russell Square will be open to the public.
