Hen Hoe Down

This weekend of bird-brained fun invites visitors of all ages to meet Stepney City Farm's rescue hens. The roaming, laying clutch of chickens are retired battery hens who have been offered a kinder, more spacious existence in east London. As well as fowl-themed activities to get stuck into, the event will feature a special four-course dinner using eggs and other ingredients from the farm itself. The meal costs £30 per person and can booked in advance by emailing joe@stepneycityfarm.org.
