Award-winning photographer Max Alexander is a former young carer and has collaborated with The Children's Society to present this exhibition of portraits of 20 children aged seven to 18 who care for someone close to them with mental, physical or substance misuse issues. The photographs are accompanied by interviews which give an insight into the lives of these young people who carry such great responsibility.
