Peter Capaldi is switching from Doctor to quizmaster to host a fundraiser for Soho homeless charity House of St Barnabas on Zoom. Tickets go on sale Monday May 4.
Capaldi is one of the founding members of The House of St Barnabas, a not-for-profit club that offers work experience and support to those affected by homelessness. Since the lockdown, the club has had to close its Grade-1 listed building in Soho and postpone its Employment Preparation Programme to later in the year. They need help to support its service-users with counselling, care packages and emegency funds.
The two-hour quiz will pack in five rounds and plenty of Malcolm Tucker-style swearing. Yes, there will be a ‘Dr. Who’ round, so make sure you come prepared. Capaldi doesn’t want an omnishambles on his hands.
