Lord knows the US loves its food, so eating your way through a menu of classic Southern American dishes seems an entirely appropriate activity for the Fourth of July. Mississippi-born chef Brad McDonald's family feasting menu will include BBQ ribs, fried chicken, potato salad and their butter-drenched fresh cornbread. Watermelon punch will get the meal started and McDonald's wife Molly will make a special red, white and blue batch of her famous doughnuts to round things off.
