Is There a Muslim World?

A talk as part of the ICA's 'Winds of Change: Cinema from Muslim Societies' season. The debate asks whether there is such a thing as a singular, homogeneous Muslim global phenomenon, whether current international foreign policy and reporting on the recent Arab Spring is representative of the diversity of the Muslim world, and whether Muslim filmmakers and artists are understood outside of their home countries.
