Jewellery by Hand in the Twenty-first Century

You might be familiar with jeweller Alex Monroe's delicate bumblebee design, a favourite of celebrities and fashionistas. At this Fashion and Textile Museum 'late', Monroe will reveal the natural and nautical inspiration behind his latest collection 'Beyond The Sea'. He will also explain the process behind his handmade designs, from the initial sketches to traditional sliver techniques. Monroe will also be signing copies of his new book 'Two Turtle Doves: A Memoir of Making Things'.
