In 2010, the people of Reykjavík, still reeling from their country's collapse in the global financial crisis of 2008, elected a man with no previous political experience as their mayor. That man was Jón Gnarr, whose life up to that point encompassed teenage rebellion, anarchist punk and starring in hit comedy 'The Night Shift'. As his well-received term in office comes to a close, he joins Foyles to discuss his unconventional approach to politics and his book 'How I Became the Major of a Large City in Iceland and Changed the World'.
