Time Out says

This collection of artefacts, art and momentos was crowd-sourced by the Jewish Museum, every item representing a journey that an individual has been on. Many of the objects have actually been on the journey – a barber's tool kit and license came to England from Jamaica in 1961 when a contributor's grandfather immigrated to Reading in Berkshire, and a wind-up singing bird box was rescued from Nazi Germany and still works today despite the damage it suffered during the war.
