Have you heard of LadyBaby? You might THINK you haven’t, but chances are, you’ve heard him sing, because the novelty Youtuber had two consecutive Christmas number ones with ‘I Love Sausage Rolls’ and ‘We Built This City on Sausage Rolls’. And really, LadBaby is a duo, because the man behind it, Mark Hoyle, performed the songs with his wife, Roxanne Hoyle. They gave the proceeds from both singles to the Trussell Trust, a charity that supports more than 1,200 food banks in the UK. Fair play.
Not content with taking over the charts for a bit, they’ve decided to start their own pub – in a garden shed. For their first act as landlords, they are holding a virtual lock-in for the lockdown. Instead of just using the lock-in to smoke inside and dance on the bar, LadBaby has planned a quick-fire quiz and some bar tricks. They’ve also promised a performance from a special celebrity guest.
