Just in case Mayfair's Berkeley Square wasn't quite swanky enough, here comes a colossal upscale shopping event in the form of an art and antiques fair. Over 100 members of the Association of Art and Antiques Dealers gather to sell furniture, textiles, furniture, textiles, jewellery, paintings, sculpture, ceramics and twentieth-century design pieces, with prices ranging from £500 to upwards of an eyewatering £500,000. Fret not, if you are planning to splash your cash: specialists inspect each item before it goes on sale, so collectors can shop safe in the knowledge that they're not being fleeced.
There are a lot of fine art specialists displaying work, including Many Igel, Haynes Fine Art of Broadway and Ellison Fine Art, Saunders Fine Art of Solihull – you get the idea. Or if you fancy something a bit different, look out for a 1953 Omega RAF watch (#sovintage) from Timewise and the diamond fox head cufflinks from VKD. Who hasn’t yeared for a pair at some point?
