Latin American and African Encounter

Ethical bar, restaurant and creative space Grow Hackney are holding a long weekend of workshops, documentaries, crafts and food sandwiched by plenty of live music to bring people together during Black History Month. Venezuelan percussionist Williams Cumberbatch will present the performers, who have joined together from all over the world to share their skills and passions, and DJs will keep the place dancing until late. Entry is free until 9pm Friday (£5 after), until 6pm Saturday (£5-7 after) and all day on Sunday.
