This social enterprise lends out useful items including power tools, kitchenware and camping gear meaning you no longer need to fork out wads of cash on equipment you'll only use one or twice. Housed inside two shipping containers in West Norwood, the project is the brainchild of three young entrepreneurs wanting to offer a money saving service that also reduces waste and encourages neighbours to meet each other. Membership is free and a catalogue of what's on offer can be found online. Borrow up to five things for up to one week and pay between 50p and £10 depending on the item. Keep an eye on the website for a programme of workshops and monthly pot-luck suppers hosted in the space.
