London By Design

Opened in September 2015, the newest permanent exhibition at London Transport Museum chronicles London's journey to becoming a world leader in transport design and will feature the iconic Tube map, the Underground roundel symbol and those moquette seat fabrics you love to hate (but still kind of love). Naturally the evolution of the red Routmaster buses will be included with another spotlight on innovative station architecture. The gallery will also explore contemporary and future developments of London’s transport network.
