Back for 2015, the largest antique map fair in Europe features 40 dealers selling maps (ranging in date from the fifteenth to the twentieth century), atlases, travel books, globes, sea charts, town plans, topographical prints and other ephemera priced £10 to £100,000. Bonaparte enthusiasts are likely to be taken by a rare broadsheet plan of Waterloo and the environs of the battlefield made by an anonymous British Army officer who was at the Battle, on sale for £750. Other highlights include a hand-coloured 1815 first edition of William 'Strata' Smith's 'Delineation of the Strata of England and Wales, with Part of Scotland' - a beautiful large-scale scientific, geological map. You'll have to fork out a whopping £150,000 if you want to get your hands on it however. The fair also includes a number of talks.
