I visited London's Tattoo Convention 2017 on Sunday and had a fantastic day. Not only a beautiful venue for such a creative convention but the amount of space at Tobacco Docks is incredible...who knew London had such a venue that is quite well hidden between Shadwell and Wapping. Hundreds of artists flocked to the convention to show their talent, and talent they did show. This event was not only great for tattoo enthusiasts but also the artists themselves with suppliers and trader stalls taking part. As I walked around the stalls and watched artists creating master pieces on various body parts it gave me the urge to add more to myself. Sadly you have to be in fast as slots fill fast- my advice would be go to the London Tattoo Convention on Saturday and try book a Sunday slot as it's hard to find an artist with a free schedule. This event is not for the faint-hearted as burlesque and pyrotechnic shows are throughout the day adding even more value to the convention. I cant wait until next year already, a wonderful day out in London full of creatives and such artistic talent.

Just tried to book advance tickets for Sunday and it's not possible. Badly organised. Such a shame you aren't able to book advance tickets until 24 hours before the event. At £50 for you and a friend to attend it's expensive enough without being slapped with a £10 surcharge for paying on the door. I'll wait till the local tattoo events, the most relevant local artists attend those shows too.

In London this weekend seemed like a good event but then I see the price it's too expensive for two people to go to I'm sure it will be good. :)

Seems really interesting but cost a fortune!!! Shame, would have been a great weekend plan...

Looking forward to be inspired and have my first tattoo done this weekend while enjoying some really good music.
