Lord Ashcroft Gallery

This new gallery showcases the world's largest collection of Victoria Crosses (Britain and the Commonwealth's highest award for extreme gallantry in the face of the enemy). The 162 medals are displayed alongside the 50 VCs and 29 George Crosses (the most prestigious civil decoration) already held by the museum.
