May Half-Term at the Museum of Childhood

London’s museum about childhood takes its latest exhibition, War Games (opening on May 25), as the inspiration for this half term’s series of workshops and family events. ‘Spy Kids’ (May 27-31) offers a day-long drop-in session that includes storytelling, unravelling secret messages, making a secret agent ID card and completing an I Spy trail; the ‘Eye Spy’ workshop (May 27, 29 and 31) enables participants to create puppets and art using a range of arts and crafts; and the ‘Introduction to Chess Basics’ (May 28 and 30) takes families through the basic principles of a chess game. Some events need to be booked in advance and have specific age suitabilities: visit for more details.
