Midnight Apothecary Wassail
Time Out says
Yes, that is toast dangling from the trees and yes, there is a man covered in green paint summoning the tree spirits. It’s all part of the traditional Twelfth Night celebrations, which sees Brunel Museum’s pretty rooftop herb garden and surrounding greenery lit up with giant candles, while down in the underground chamber you can warm up with cocktails and live folk music. Bring lanterns (or your phone torch) and your finest wassailing voice to join in with the ceremony shenanigans and wrap up warm if you plan on gorging on marshmallows around an open fire (we would).
