Time Out says
Dreaming of a kitsch Christmas? New York's famous Miracle on Ninth Street bar is popping up in London for the festive season, bringing ’50s Christmas decorations, nostalgic alpine-themed accessories and creative takes on old school cocktails to Covent Garden. Think of the ’60s stop-motion version of ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ and you'll have your finger on the vibe of this wistful pop-up. Grab a seat at the bar, described as a ‘chalet living room on Christmas Eve’, and sip on a Snowball Old Fashioned or a Christmapoliton served in vintage, festive glassware. Soak it up with alpine-inspired snacks - Iberico ham and truffle chips, anyone?

My mate spell checked ....
I discovered Miracle when living in NYC and was delighted to find out they have a pop up here in London. I booked and went to visit this weekend and was blown away by the Christmas magic they have installed into Henrietta bistro’s mezzanine. The novelty decorations and small details they have put into the place keeps you constantly amused entertained.
The drinks where dangerously delicious I have to say, my favourite being the Santarex served in a t-Rex sporting a Christmas hat was just perfect, loved the spiced apple flavour!! followed by some truffle and cheese chips I loved it so much I ordered two portions.
All in all I would highly recommend if you want to get into the Christmassy feel.
I’ve booked again with a group of friends next week.
This was a really cute and festive bar with good cocktails and even better glasses! I’m a sucker for a novelty glass! The service however left a lot to be desired, we had a 2 hour booking for a table and at 8:35 we were told we could order one last drink (the booking was until 9) and before the last drinks even arrived we were handed the bill and really were rushed off the table despite there being empty tables and no queue at this point and the people before us ran over 15 minutes so we had to move tables. We also enquired about buying the glasses that were for sale at the back of the menu and were told we couldn’t because they had to use them until Sunday, really did beg the question why they had them displayed for sale! Loved the decor and you couldn’t help but feel Christmassy but they need to improve the service as it was a real let down!
