Designed by Hemingway Design, the Museum of 1951 brings together a collection of models, memorabilia, artworks, personal histories and memories from the Festival of Britain as part of the Southbank Centre's sixtieth-anniversary celebrations. Exhibits include a Meccano model of the Festival of Britain ferris wheel, and a typical 1950s living room, curated by Homes & Antiques magazine, which features atomic-inspired patterns, an Ercol sofa and a G-Plan dining set.
