Museums at Night: Apsley After Dark

Time Out says

The curtains are drawn, the chandeliers lit and the welcome is warm at Apsley House, also known as Number One, London, home to the first Duke of Wellington when he wasn't busy defeating Napoleon Bonaparte. Check out the Duke's collection of more than 200 paintings, including works by Velázquez, Goya and Rubens, in surroundings restored to look as they would have done in his day, then nip across the roundabout and visit Wellington Arch too.
