Time Out says

The Native Spirit Foundation, a UK charity that fights to protect he rights of Indigenous peoples, holds their annual film festival. But it's not just film you'll get here, there's also a series of talks and performances. Highlights include the opening dance ceremony, featuring a performance by a group of Mexica dancers, the UK premiere of a documentary about the Mayan people's prophesies, perspectives and ancestors, 'The Mayan Word' (Oct 13), and a Q&A session with Iara Lee, director of the Cultures of Resistance organisation, in which she'll discuss the Xingu – a southeast tributary of the Amazon that's home to over 10,000 indigenous people – following a screening of 'Battle for the Xingu' (Oct 19).
