Nativity Fun Run

The story of the nativity is packed with good outfits, so it seems right – especially at this most charitable time of year – to take advantage of that and dress up as Mary, Joseph, a king, an angel, a shepherd, a star or even a barnyard animal and then race each other to raise money for mothers and babies in need in El Salvador. If the 10km route sounds more exhausting than travelling to Bethlehem at full term then choose the 5km option, which teenagers and children may also join in with. Even the littlest do-gooders can get involved; there's also a 1km nativity toddle. Those old enough to be interested in them will be rewarded with a mince pie and Fairtrade hot drink at the end of their route.
