Apparently 2015 is International Year of the Light and Light-based Technologies, and there's certainly plenty to celebrate. The Wellcome Collection and UCL will be illuminating our relationship with light with this four-day festival featuring talks, performance, activities and installations from over 60 contributors. All five floors of the Wellcome's newly expanded space will be in use, and a changing selection of ticketed events will take place on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Friday's evening event will include a pop-up bar and storytelling from The Crick Crack Club, while on Saturday visitors can drop into UCL's Institute of Making to find out more about materials or visit a scientific street fair in Malet Place.
