Cutty Sark Gardens host this series of events curated by On the Gardens, aiming to bring the local community and visitors to Greenwich together throughout spring, summer and beyond. Swing dance classes covering Lindy Hop, Charleston and Collegiate Shag styles will take place across the May bank holiday (May 23-25), while DJs play jazzy beats and vintage sellers set up shop in the middle of the Gardens. The Greenwich Busking Festival (July 18-19) invites busking music makers to entertain the crowds across a summer weekend with mini sets spanning all genres. Those wishing to take part can book a spot in advance by emailing: buskers@onthegardens.co.uk. The final event of the year will see a bevy of stalls selling vintage clothes, home-ware, records and more next to the magnificent ship, plus a variety of food trucks and street grub vendors serving up tasty treats to hungry bargain hunters (Sept 5-6).
