Ed and Tom Martin's ETM Group (The Hat & Tun, The Botanist, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms) ventures to Canary Wharf with this 100-cover restaurant on the ground floor of the One Canada Square tower. The David Collins Studio is behind the design, where a downstairs centrepiece bar sits in front of stairs leading up to a dining room on the mezzanine, offering views out across Canada Square. Marble and leather play prominent parts.
An all-day brunch (9am-5pm) is available on Saturdays, with breakfasts, lunches and dinners offered throughout the week. The a la carte menu features dishes such as avocado with blue cheese, gem heart salad and toasted pine nuts, a king scallop and shrimp burger with Thai 'slaw and chips, and Scottish lobster cooked on the grill and served with garlic and parsley butter. The seafood is bought from Billingsgate Market daily.
An express set breakfast, cocktail deals, a prix fixe menu and champagne breakfasts also feature, as well as a bar menu with daily specials. The wine list offers old world and new world wines, including six champagnes, three sherries and four ports. Wine flights are available, too.
